1.How long have you been visiting/living on Daufuskie Island?
I have been visiting Daufuskie for 12 years and living here for 3 years.
2. What brought you to Daufuskie?
We fell in love with the current community and culture over here. I love the low country and there are not many places like this in our area.
3. What is your favorite part about living on Daufuskie island?
The natural beauty that is so abundant over here.
4. What is your favorite thing to do on Daufuskie?
Anything and everything outside! Preferably when it’s above 80 degrees!
5. How long have you been working for Tour Daufuskie?
I have been working for Tour Daufuskie for 2 1/2 years.
6. What is your favorite part about working with Tour Daufuskie?
I love all of it! Making a career out of this has been a dream.
7. What is your favorite part about working with Kade?
His goofy laugh.

Laura Leigh Miles, Reservationist and Guide
1. How long have you been visiting/living on Daufuskie Island?
I have been visiting Daufuskie Island for 17 years and living over here for 13 years.
2.What brought you to Daufuskie?
My husband was building Sandy Lane Condos so we started coming over to visit on the weekends. We fell in love with the locals and the quiet of the Island and decided to move here.
3. What is your Favorite part about living in Daufuskie Island?
The laid back slow paced life style and its been a really fun place to raise my children!
4.What is your favorite thing to do on Daufuskie?
I love taking my kids to the beach and enjoying all the nature that surrounds us.
5. How long have you been working for Tour Daufuskie?
14 months!
6. What is your favorite part about working with Tour Daufuskie?
Being able to work with close friends while getting to share our little piece of paradise with others!

8. Fun Fact about Laura Leigh…
She was born in Albany Georgia, the same town as Daufuskie’s midwife, Sarah Grant!
Kade Yarborough, Operations and Guide
1.How long have you been visiting/living on Daufuskie Island?
I have been living on Daufuskie since 2002.
2. What brought you to Daufuskie?
My dad’s family moved over here in 1922 in pursue of farmland.
3. What is your favorite part about living on Daufuskie Island?
The privacy and exposure to nature.
4. What is your favorite thing to do on Daufuskie?
Spend time at the beach!
5. How long have you been working for Tour Daufuskie?
Almost a year in February.
6. What is your favorite part about working with Tour Daufuskie?
Working with my best friend Chase!
7. What is your favorite part about working with Kade?
Being Kade!!

1. How long have you been visiting/living on Daufuskie Island?
I have been visiting for 26 years and living over here for a year.
2. What brought you to Daufuskie?
We had family that had been visiting for years and loved it!
3. What is your favorite part about living on Daufuskie Island?
I love how our community is like one big family!
4. What is your favorite thing to do on Daufuskie?
Going on adventures and exploring the island.

I love the people that I work with and I love being a part of bringing visitors to this unique island.

1.How long have you been visiting/living on Daufuskie Island?
I have been visiting for 21 years and living on Daufuskie since 2001!
2. What brought you to Daufuskie?
A marketing job at Haig Point when international paper owned it.
3. What is your favorite part about living on Daufuskie Island?
Currently…I like the outdoor activities; fishing, swimming, hunting
4. What is your favorite thing to do on Daufuskie?
Fishing and picking wild mushrooms!

I started the company in 2013
6. What is your favorite part about working with Tour Daufuskie?
The people!

The sound effects and the fact that he may be a human video game character!
