Daufuskie Island Ferry offers a comfortable, enclosed ride to Daufuskie. This 1 hour long trip departs from Buckingham Landing at the base of the Hilton Head bridges and takes you through Calibogue Sound to Daufuskie. The ferry runs four times a day (7:00 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm), with an added late night (9:00 pm) trip on Fridays. Return trips from Daufuskie are at 8:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, 5:30 pm (Plus 10:15 pm on Fridays). If you are coming from the Savannah area, Bull River Marina is an excellent option. The marina is located on Wilmington Island, just at the Tybee Island Bridge.
In addition to Bull River’s open air water taxi, they also recently added a fully enclosed 31’ SeaHawk that can accommodate up to 22 people. This quick ride through the protected waters from Tybee to Daufuskie only takes about half an hour. Bull River can drop you off at any of the docks on Daufuskie Island.
